Fish oil and hair growth?

I have heard that fish oil can make your hair grow fast but I have also heard that it can make your skin or hair or breath smell really bad like fish!? Any comments..? :)

Fish oil and hair growth?

Is vitamin A. Recommend taking with Vitamin C for healthy hair.

it won't make your skin or hair smell bad...

If your that worried take fish oil pills, or better (seal oils)

But do NOT overdose yourself with vitamin A as, taking more than recommended can lead to hair falling off and vitamin A intoxication. This is b/c vitamin A is not water soluble like Vitamin C

Fish oil and hair growth?

I doubt if it will make your hair grow any faster but it is good for you...has Omega 3 oils which most of us don't get enough of. If you take the kind that's coated (I think they call them "enteric") you will be less likely to have a problem with breath odor. I haven't noticed a problem with skin or hair smelling bad but with some bottles I've noticed I burp awhile after taking them and then get a fish taste (yuck, I really don't like fish which is one reason I swallow these). Make sure they haven't expired and that you store them where they don't get too warm, and get the kind that are coated. Also take with a FULL glass of water. All these things will help minimize the burping of fish taste. Fish oil is good for your heart, your cholesterol level and some say good for brain function and mood regulation also.

My doctor recommended I take fish oil tablets every day because my triglycerides are too high and the fish oil will likely bring it down without more medication.
