Question about facial hair growth after having a baby?

I had my son 4 years ago by cesarean. Soon after I had him I noticed facial hair sprouting out. I am 32 and have to pluck my chin and upper lip almost every night. It has become a nightly ritual. Does any one know what this could be or maybe have a better solution other then laser surgery to live with this embarrising problem? Please be kind

I had this same problem. My doc. tested my thyroid...will probably do the same for you. Mine was fine, so I ended up just having lazer hair removal...expensive, but soooo worth it. good luck

i think it's just your hormones just go to a a skin doctor or somethin

If you are on hormone pills such as birth control... this could be causing the hair problem. All of us get hair on our faces eventually... mine started in my 3o's .

do NOT use nair or ANY such product on your face.... The hair WILL Grow in thicker, same as if YOU shaved your face.

Just pluck, and ask YOU doctor about hormones, or for a test of YOUR thyroid.

ask them to check your testoterone level---its the male hormone that all women have------some have higher ones than others.....talk to your doctor or gyno about it. it could be in your genes.....like in mine but more of mine is from a hormonal imbalance due to polycystic ovarian disease----i would just talk to your doctor--- i use the sally hasen extra strength about 2 times a week for my facial hair
