Allowing hair growth despite split ends??????/?

My hair is about 2 inches below my shoulders and i want it to be boob length by september. I do have split ends but it seems that every single time i cut my split ends off it just gets worse! My hair doesnt grow and it just gets damaged and split AGAIN. so im asking... should i wait for it to be boob length and then do my split end cuts to mantain and health and length??

That's what I did I am getting it cut the day before school and it is about... 1/2 past my boobs. Which will give them enough room to cut off a bit for it to be non split but in about a month mine could grow 2 more inches.

well, there is such a thing as having a long-hair gene.

Perhaps you don't have this, and that's why your hair won't grow.

So my advice would be to keep it healthy and hopefully it grows. If it doesn't, then at least it didn't look like crap for the time you tried to make it grow longer.

the cause of split ends is the lack of oil distribution in the scalp, brushing and combing your hair frequently and thoroughly can remove away your split ends.

well if you don't get your split ends cut they will continue to split up your hair shaft %26amp; you will have to get even more cut off. if you think your hair gets worse after getting it trimmed maybe you are not taking care of it correctly. %26amp; to the person said that brushing will take away split ends that is incorrect bc nothing except getting a trim will get rid of them. so throw ur book out the window bc it gave you false information.

CUT IT NOW!!! but to keep your ends healthy until you have it the length you want and not get split ends while your waiting for your hair to grow, really concentrate on the ends when you condition your hair. so i recommend using conditioner mostly on your ends. so just run some conditioner in through your hair and then concentrate on your ends.

I would just TRIM it a lil so you get rid of the split ends.

trim the ends and put conditioner mainly on the ends...towel dry your hair only...
