Question about Hair Growth?

Hi,

I want to grow my hair about two to three more inches. I don't want to get a trim because I am donating my hair to "locks of love." I am donating it on feb. 3rd (my b-day). I would appreciate any help that you can give me.

P.S. I have enough to donate... I just don't want my hair to be really short!
