i think so but i know something you can try i just learn some one said you have to cut or ends cause you get slit ends so you have to cut it off.

Your health shows in your hair so a healthy diet is a good idea. Minimize damage use sparingly hair color or straighters. Use a wide tooth comb to comb wet hair. Minimize the use of any hot tools, blow dryer, curling iron. Do not let to much product build up alternate with a shampoo that clarifies weekly. Condition ends of hair to keep snarles and breakage from occuring.

All I know about castor oil is that my granny makes me drink a spoon full when I'm sick and it tastes horrible. I'm not for sure what it'll do to your hair but you could wash your hair in a can of beer...it'll make it shiny and soft. Or let it set for 10 minutes in mayo, though I must warn you that you won't be able to eat any mayo for a while because it just does not smell good on your head. Good Luck!
