yea. i had to shave my head for one month, and put baby oil on it contently. i have a wig but my hairs growing back 8x as fast!

if it is severe, yes it can, u need to have healthy scalp and skin to have healthy hair growth. there r a couple different types of dandruff, but point is that u need to have it taken care of. it can be itchy, painful and unsightly! where ur hair comes out of, if it is healthy, 4-5 hairs grow, it can clog where the hair follicle comes out and maybe only 1-2 hairs gorw. its not serious, lots of ppl get it, ur stylist should have recomended something to u. but if not, u need to get some dandruff shampoo for that, get it cleared up and be on ur way to healthy hair growth!

Head and shoulders is a great help as well. So don't worry, having dandruff doesn't effect your hair growth (again ,unless it's really bad)
